This series is based on memories I fondly recall. Each photograph in this series is inspired by an artist, film, theater performance, or icon. The memory is the inspiration, the image is a free translation that reflects the mood of the memory. When preparing for this series, I go back in my mind to the time and my feelings of the time. I intuitively translate that into clothing, decor and attributes that come together in an image.
